St. Pete Beach tarpon fishing has been excellent. Late season tarpon have been around in great numbers and have been biting quite well. Fish ranging from 50lbs to 150lbs have been the norm. The best part about it is they have been biting all throughout the day so both morning and afternoon trips have had great success. These feisty creatures should hang around until mid August!
